PISTOL SQUATS WITH BEN

I decided to give this a try while hanging out with the grandparents. This is 3rd try (with no warm-up) as I got used to Ben's squirming. Happy 4th of July weekend!

RKC II: LAST HEAVY DAY OF TRAINING

Today was my last heavy lifting day for the RKC II next week. My goal was to nail the strict 44kg press with both arms. Psychologically, it was a big day. As I mentioned in my last posting, I had worked out a flexibility issue by using some FMS exercises.  I learned that I had been pressing off of that area of tightness. I've been getting the 44kg up but not consistently with each arm since. I would have been seriously bumming if I didn't get that damn big kettlebell up today. I'm happy to say (and show) that I got it done. I'm going into next week prepared.
